I have my Xbox One and my Series X plugged into the same TV and I notice vast differences in the quality but also the brightness of the picture - I eventually found that I also had different picture settings on the different HDMI inputs.

The new sony W series have the lowest input lag for TV's so are perfect as a gaming tv. I have last years kdl42W653 which measures 15ms in game mode, great picture, good sound and is a smart tv.
