XBOX SERIES X - Capture audio not being captured & Report a Problem not working

Xbox series x. There is so much documentation about this issue, no-one has a solution (apart from streaming on twitch, saving the vod and then editing the video). Compared with my xbox one captures, taken well over a year ago, they are awful, choppy, stuttering messes. This is not a problem on my end, this is a problem with the xbox series x capture system. The fact captures are STILL terrible is a joke, given the series x was released over 18 months ago.

Thanks for your post! Natively, the GameDVR function only captures video and audio from the game being recorded. In order to get voice audio for your gameplay, you may want to consider an external audio capture device or a capture card that supports capturing
audio of these together.

Yes the USB drive is brand new and works on the computer. Tried all prior fixes listed above and nothing. Files work on the drive. Trying to capture gameplay on Xbox series x. Won’t recognize as an option to change the location of capture and share to the jump drive.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have an iPhone and the instructions I think are for android? Also I don’t think it’s just an issue with the app, when I play the captures back on my Xbox the clips have no sound on there either

The game clips of my friend who also owns an Series X do not have sound either (for a different game though).

I suspect it has something to do with 4K resolution, HDR or both which was a issue in the past with the One X.

Try lowering the resolution of your clips to 1080p or lower by opening the Xbox Guide (Xbox button on controller) > Capture & shares > Captures settings at the bottom and see if the problem still persists.

You can also use the Report a problem app when you take a clip that does not have audio to help the Xbox devs to investigate this issue.

I have the exact same issue.

Only I'm using the new Elgate Capture Card HD60x

On the xbox series x I'm using a Logitech-G Headset G433 Zwart.

When I unplug the headset from the controller I can capture teammates mic sound.

As soon as I plugin the headset, it stops capturing teammates sound.

In the Xbox party chat, passthrough and "speaker and headset" is selected.

(when using the Elgato chat link, all works, but I don't want to use the anolog audio, but the HDMI audio. I have a separated Mic connected to the recording PC for my voice. I only need the mic connected to the controller to communicate in the game).
