Xbox Series X can't download 360 profile

Hello there,

After I open a 360 game and the grey screen with the loading bar appears, trying to download my 360 profile, nothing happens for the next 5 minutes, until the game eventually opens, but without the loaded account.

I tried multiple Things Like changing Port , other Internet, Reseting the Console , different Account and talked to the German Support but all did not Help.

Maybe you got an idea xD

All Microsoft Xbox accounts have an Xbox 360 profile that can be downloaded to either a real Xbox 360 console or to the Xbox 360 emulated dashboard on Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. Even if you made a new account now, it would still have a 360 profile.

When you run a backwards compatible 360 game on your Series X for the first time, you will be asked to enter your email address and password. This is so the 360 profile can be downloaded. It does this because that is how the Xbox 360 does things.

Having the same issues myself. Recently bought a 360 to play some games that aren't backwards compatible and I can't get my profile downloaded onto the console. I get the same error saying my credentials aren't correct. I can log in fine on my series X and the xbox website. I've turned reccuring billing off and on and turned 2 step off and on and still can't get my profile downloaded to the 360 console.

1. Go to Settings > System > Storage Devices and select Clear local Xbox 360 Storage.

2. Launch a 360 game, then press the View and Menu buttons, and select Sign out.

3. Reset your console using these steps (make sure you know your account's email and password before proceeding):

Note: No data or game saves will be lost, as everything is backed up to the cloud.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Settings.

3. Choose All Settings.

4. Go to System.

5. Select Console info.

6. Choose Reset console.

7. Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

After completing these steps, check if the issue is resolved.
