    Xbox Series X Call of Duty Cold War 120hz setting locked.


    Hi, I have an LG OLED CX series 4K TV that is capable of 4K at 120hz. I was able to set my Xbox X to 4K @ 120hz in the settings and play COD Cold War at 120hz. However, just recently when I go into the graphics setting in COD, the HDR settings are locked
    and cannot be adjusted. Where before I was able to see it display 120hz in the graphics settings. I have tried adjusting the video settings on my Xbox a bunch of times and also on my TV but I cannot get the graphics settings in COD Cold War to show 120hz.
    I’ve been using the original high-speed hdmi cable that came with the Xbox X and also bought a new high-speed cable but this did not help.

    Hi!

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

    Call of Duty Black ops Upgrade to X/S

    From what I can tell, to access the Series X version of the game, you need the Cross-Gen bundle...once you buy that, you should then be able to download and install the Series X version. Without the cross-gen bundle it will, presumably, just install the XB1 version

    From the Store page:

    "For digital owners of the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War Standard Edition, this upgrade will unlock the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War Cross-Gen Bundle, giving access to the Xbox Series X|S version of the game. After upgrade purchase, search in the Xbox store for the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War - Cross-Gen Bundle to install the Xbox Series X|S version of the game."
