Xbox Series X Bundle purchased but game not showing in library

Sadly there's no way to transfer game license between accounts. I'm sorry about this.

I bought the bundle as a gift for a friend, I don't even see the game I added in my account at all. where is microsoft's contact email? all i can find are phone numbers.

Especially knowing the timing of this was most likely intended for Christmas purchases. This is very disappointing and I feel SURE we are not the only ones that have been affected by this. I am just so surprised that Microsoft is completely unwilling to even attempt to help with this or at least offer a refund if they truly are un-able to re-assign the digital games to another Microsoft account. Seems odd that you can buy digital codes from Best Buy or Walmart but if you buy one from Microsoft you are restricted from using the same digital purchase for another specified account. It is not like the price that was charged for a game we will never be able to use was discounted.

Could Microsoft not refund the cost of the game since it is not ever going to be used? We have the same issue - my brother bought a console for my son on his account so now we can't use the $60 Madden 22 that was intended for his console. I don't understand why an un-used digital download could not be assigned or "gifted" to another xbox account. Many parents don't use their kids microsoft account to order consoles for Christmas.

Wish that had been a little more clear when it was ordered.
