Xbox Series X Black Screen Issue

When I switch to the Xbox Series X HDMI source or switch to HDR gaming or vice versa on my TV, about 15% of the time the screen would stay black but I can still use the Series X while the screen is black. There's still sound and I can navigate and use the controller while the screen is black. In order to get rid of the black screen, I would have to change to another HDMI source and then switch it back to the Series X HDMI source. Do you think my Series X is having compatibility issues with my LG C9 OLED TV and getting a new TV would solve the issue or is the issue with my Series X itself like the HDMI port or something? I tried everything, I updated my TV to the latest firmware, used different HDMI cables and even tried plugging these cables in all the HDMI ports on my TV but I still get the black screen. I wanted to get the new Sony A95K TV this summer anyways so would this do the trick?

The issue occurs with any game. Anytime I use the Xbox App to stream to my PC from my Xbox Series X, the App is prone to experience freezing and black screens.

No, I'm using the App that is available on the Microsoft Store.

Try this

1. Turn off your Xbox completely by holding the power button for 10 seconds. Unplug it from the wall, wait for 1 minute, and plug it back.

2. Press and hold the Sync and Eject buttons.

3. Press the power button, and keep holding the Sync and Eject buttons together.

4. Keep holding the Sync and Eject buttons, until the troubleshooting menu appears.

5. Select the option "restore this xbox" and choose keep my games and apps.
