Xbox Series X and Xbox One X in the same house, same account?

I currently have an Xbox One X. This Winter, when the new Xbox Series X console comes out, can I use my same Xbox account to setup and sign-in to the new Xbox Series X console and still keep my account on the existing Xbox One X console? So there would
be two Xbox consoles (different generations) in the same house, running on the same Xbox account. Is this possible?

I don't want to lose all of the saved games and DLC on the existing Xbox One X console.

    Thanks.

There is no offical information about it, but is more than obvious than you are going able to, as the same as Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

    Hi,

Yes you'll be able to use the account on both consoles, you just won't be able to use the same account on both consoles at the same time.

The Series X is due to have a massive backwards compatible library, your games and DLC are linked to your account, not your console.

    Can't play goat simulator 3???

It actually would. There's an Xbox One, One S, and One X that are all in the same family. Then there is the Series S and Series X that are in a completely different family of consoles.

An Xbox One X is not the same as a Series X. The game will not work on an One X.
