Xbox Series X and Samsung QE75Q80T - TV make irritating noise when I enable 4K

My Samsung QE75Q80T makes and light irritated noise when i switched on 4K in game mode for my Xbox Series X.

I updated my TV software to 1403 yesterday, it did not help.

I tried different settings for 4K it didt help.

Only when I turn off 4K the noise stops.

I dont now what to do, have anyone else experienced this?

    :)

Not getting 4k Resolution or HDR

    Hi beargrizzle25,

Sorry you're having issues getting 4k / HDR with your TV. Looking at the specs of your TV it doesn't appear to be HDR, so that wouldn't be an option. With Samsung's MU Series TV you would need to be in the 7000 range, and not the 6000 range. That said, I
have a Samsung HDR 4K, and to get it to properly register you need to go to the Samsung menu and enable UHD color on the HDMI port you're using. If you don't do that, then the Xbox won't detect it correctly.

55UH7700 and I have all checks but one. 4K @50hz. Any ideas

    Is it a Samsung TV?

I know when you buy some Samsung TVs, even the newest models their 4K/HDR settings are not always enabled ( was told this by Samsungs on Support staff )

I'm not sure where settings are exactly but you have to go into the video/picture settings and make sure everything is on/enabled, HDR etc

If your not sure just phone Samsungs direct support line, they are brilliant and will make sure everything on TV is set up correctly.

If after that it still doesn't solve it I'd suggest giving Xbox Support a call

Good luck and let us know how you get on.
