Xbox series x and home Xbox switches with my friend and I

I got my series x like last month and had noticed that the home xbox share that i was doing with my friend who was still on xbox one was no longer working, so I did another transfer and used up my exception since I was at five already from having to transfer
with a different friend who doesnt need it anymore. But now that my friend has just gotten a series x the transfer did not go through again and i can’t do any more exceptions and i tried removing his account from my xbox as its home xbox and re-adding it but
nothing worked. I was wondering if there is any fix for this because I was also lead to understand that the series x would give five more new shares since its suppose to be console based not account

so i can't switch my xbox one to an xbox series X, i am planning on removing home console and factory resetting it

you get 5 per year, thats more than enough for a home console, you shouldnt be sharing with your friend as that is abusing the system.

Theres no need to be rude about it i was just simply asking; I’ve shared it with two friends in total which is exactly how the gameshare system works which is to share with a friend and as i said the first didnt want or need it anymore, and the second
friend did want it. I only went through them so quick because i had to take it back from the first friend for a couple things and i wouldnt have had to use the exception if it had kept my gameshare that i had with him on the xbox one onto the series x or if
it was true when microsoft said that the 5 times were hardware based and not profile

Are you offline? Is the Series X your home Xbox?

No my Xbox series x is online and on the same network as my Xbox one and my Xbox series x is set as my home Xbox
