    Currenly the Xbox Console Companion app does NOT support console streaming from Xbox Series S|X to your Windows 10 PC. Amazing, I know....

    This impacts many, many content creators (streamers) that use the app as a screen capture to share their gameplay on Twitch/Youtube as a effective alternative to screen capture hardware cards. There currently is zero software alternatives to stream to PC from console. So Microsoft is impacting content creators ability to stream the Xbox Series gameplay.

    You might say use a capture card. Well, that starts a whole other discussion. The new Xbox Series X has many HDMI 2.1 features that require a direct connection to the HDMI 2.1 supported TV. Introducing a capture card between the Xbox Series X and the HDMI 2.1 compatible TV removes much of this support since the capture card introduces input delay, does not pass through VRR properly, limits the FPS support of 120hz, etc etc.

    Other options like using a Android emulator on your PC are security risks to your Google Play and Gamepass accounts since you have to log into both within the thrid party emulator,

    Basically, when does MS plan to have xCloud (Gamepass app) support using your Xbox Series S|X as the ‘source’ for streaming to PC.

    Wasn’t this supported on the xCloud app during Insiders beta?

    Can I use my MS Insiders access to use a beta version of xCloud app to at least keep my content creator job functioning?

    Thats because the series x cannot be used for game streaming

    Only xbox one

    You SHOULD not be using legacy insiders hub on series x or s

    It is meant for Xbox one

    The os updates are only for xbox one so are the beta tests and xcloud Is NOT supported in China only south korea

    The preview is over for other regions so you wouldn't be able ro use extended regions anyways

    Insiders hub regular is the only one for series x and s

    Can a Xbox X controller connect to a 360 Xbox

    Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X controllers work on Xbox Series X|S, and vice versa. However, Xbox 360 is on it's own, similar to the OG Xbox.

    What's cool however is if you remote stream Xbox One, One S, One X, Series S, or Series X on, say, a PC, you can plug in a 360 controller and use it on the newer generation.

    But no, newer controllers aren't supported on 360.

    I don't see how these things are related? Xcloud is great for what it's supposed to do, but isn't quite the same as streaming your games from your Xbox over your network to another device.

    X cloud actually will allow you to stream from your console, in addition to streaming from Microsoft servers. Both devices can be on the same network, but allows flexibility in that they don't HAVE to be. I imagine they want to keep all streaming services
    together for simplicity. It's also possible they are revamping the Xbox app to be more stable and compatible with the Series X console releasing this year, as well.

    Sorry, but you cannot stream games from a PC to a console. Any idea why you thought this was possible?
    Actually you can, or least you can on the original Xbox One, One S and Xbox One X. The PC needs to support Miracast for it to work. I have no idea if it works on Series X/S yet though.
