Xbox Series S|X (disable onscreen keyboard)?

Will there ever be a way to disable the on screen keyboard? It constantly gets in the way and blocks me from interacting with many standard web features.

I understand you need help disabling the on screen keyboard. Unfortunately, there is no feature on Xbox that will remove the on screen keyboard. You can only minimize this through the accessibilty settings so it will appear smaller than the usual.

For remote features, you can disable this by downloading the Windows 10 app and go to the app settings to disable the on screen keyboard but that is only through the app.

That is just for remote features on the Xbox. Not sure if this still works but you can try holding down the windows key then press escape. See if that removes the on screen keyboard.

Unfortunately the only way is as you say with the PC APP.

You can however make it smaller if you find it helpful in case you have this option on

Settings>Accessibility>Magnifier>Large on.screen keyboard>off
