Xbox Series S/X controller weird thumbstick noise

Honestly not a very helpful response. If contacting support was something i wanted to do, i wouldve done just that.

I have posted to gauge whether this is a common occurance, whether others have already attempted to contact support regarding such issue and whether it is actually an issue at all or just common for the new controllers to be a bit creaky.

Hello all. So i got my son a new controller for christmas. Using it the first time we had noticed that there was a springy/clicky/creaky noise whenever he would move the right thumbstick. Almost 3 weeks later and the noise seems to be getting louder.

Has anyone heard of this with the new controllers?

Could this lead to accelerated wear on the right thumbstick from faulty hardware or fault during assembly?

Any help or info appreciated. Thanks.

mine is broken too the whole left side of the controller is messed up when i press the left trigger it makes a weird clicking noise and so does the left thumbstick

Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Also the Xbox One controllers work on the new Series consoles.
