    I use the Xbox Series S/X controller on my PC via wired and I just ran into an interesting issue. It no longer works at all, but when I plug it in, it does vibrate and if I press the jewel it lights up and flashes like it's trying to connect wirelessly. No connection happens though. Eventually, my Windows tells me the USB hub had an issue and nothing else happens. I've tried multiple cables and two different computers with no difference. Is it just dead after less than a year, or is there some way I can reset it?

    Sadly, I didn't have the accessories app on there until after it happened, since I was trying to test it out and see if that would fix the issue. I also tried on another PC that didn't have accessories app on there, and when I put in batteries, it exhibited the same power issues and wouldn't stay turned on or linked to anything.

    Hi there Vlaphor welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. This might be an app issue! I suggest uninstalling the accessories app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!

    The warranty for controllers is only 6 or so months sadly, which is one of the things that upsets me about my controller dying less than a year in.
