Xbox series S won’t stay signed in to account or load anything

Hi thanks for getting back to me. I have tried both of these and since restarting the Xbox, it will no longer let me log in. It’s keeps saying I have to connect to the internet to sign in, the Xbox is connected to internet and every time I check it on the settings it says connected, but everytime I try and sign in it tells me i need to connect to internet.

I have tried this with no luck. More of the same “try again in a while” or “you need to connect to the internet” messages. Console is connected to internet and saying all services available.

Internet is strong and working on other devices, such as tv, switch and mobile phones.

Thanks for that. Please perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

I apologize for the trouble. I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.
