    Connected a new X box series s to the internet but it says checking for updates and then goes back to the there was a problem with the update page any suggestions please. I have even tried connecting with ethernet but still not working

    What type of network connection are you using, wired or WiFi?

    Did the initial setup finish? Account details etc.

    Are you getting any error codes?

    The lookup for
    Error code support     indicates you have a issue with your network.

    Turn off the console and power cycle your network hardware and wait till you have connectivity (green lights) before turning the console back on with a wired connection.

    Edit.. There is a live core issue at the moment affecting sign in
