    Xbox series S wifi connection issues


    I am a college student who just bought an xbox series s 1tb carbon black. I did the initial setup on a hot spot in order to see the mac address to register it with the school. the website I register it on says it is successfully registered but when I try to connect to the wifi on my xbox a page pops up that says additional authentafication required. My schools IT has been unhelpful and I am wanting to know if there are any tricks to help me connect. I have tried restarting and even reseting my x box but I am still unable to connect

    If I do the console reset option that doesn’t remove games and apps on the Xbox series s, does it still remove all accounts as well?

    Thankyou for the response, I have other things connected to my WiFi and are having no issues with them so my WiFi is on and working, I even pulled out my Xbox one and it’s having the same issues, I’ve reset my Xbox series s, and It won’t even let me finish the setup stages because it just simply won’t connect.
