    Xbox series S update issue (normal update and offline update)


    Hey guys

    After turning on console it showed a 4.7GB update required prompt The update is download but it fails to install and displays an "there is something wrong" error I have tried the following: 1- power recycling 2- resetting my Xbox while keeping game/data (resetting done but update still fails with same error) 3-offline update, fails and shows error Anyone has an idea about this? P.S: I have all error snapshots but the community doesn't allow any attachments

    Error codes after normal update failing (0x8B05000F 0x00000000 0x90070007)

    OS and target OS versions:

    Source OS: 10.0.25398.1641

    Target OS: 10.0.25398.1679

    Thanks for your post. I understand you are having issues installing an Offline System Update. Which Offline System Update are you attempting to install, and were you having issues installing an update normally? You may want to

    Power-Cycle     your console and attempt the update again.

    The Xbox Offline System Update (OSU) process allows you to update your console by downloading a file to a USB flash drive and then installing that file directly onto your Xbox Series S console. This is the process I'm referring to:
