Xbox Series S turning itself off after I turn the controller back on

It usually happens after the controller goes to sleep then I press the Xbox button on the controller to turn it back on; it can also happen sometimes when I leave the console on for a while which sometimes I have to do to install a game...

It's really frustrating because I just got this Xbox a few weeks ago and already from day one I've been having these issues with it, and I'm worried the console randomly turning off will make it stop working or have serious issues.

Hi Brad,

The turning off is a common problem with my xbox due to poor ventilation, but it always turns back on automatically by itself. When I turned it off after it restarted as normal, it is now not turning on anymore, instead turning on for a second and turning
itself off again

I had this problem before but I got it working after a while. Try turning off your console and turning it back on. Then, press the 2 sync buttons, one is on the controller and one is on the console itself, at the same time. If that don't work, turn off the
console again and turn it back on and try to press each sync button in a different combination. Hope this fixes your controller problem.
