Xbox series s stuttering

Hey everyone, I've got a series s and in the last couple of weeks it every now and again did like a lag feel then would be good like maybe once a week but since the other day it was doing it everytime I got in a match on seige and even on training grounds and I've tried a TV to see if it might be my monitor and its doing the same on the TV and I tried a different hdmi cable but the one I tried is old so maybe I've gotten unlucky and got 2 bad hdmi cables

Your resolution may be the reason it's working. I run my Xbox Series S at 1440p and have capture stuttering like many people in this thread. Maybe the video compression works just fine if you're running your Xbox at 4k.

I got the new hdmi cable and I thought it was fine etc but its still having the issues and in fortnite public lobbys my frames drop to 80 occasionally

I did the resetting and when I tried seige it ran smooth and normal then when I restarted the game it started giving me the same grief but ill buy a new hdmi cable and see if it fixes the issue otherwise ill be sending the console away to be fixed but thankyou for the help I reay appreciate it and ill keep you updated about it if you would like.

Thankyou i will do that and I hope it fixes it as I love the next gen console capabilities and it sucks that the money I've payed to have to have it go in for repairs after like 5 months of having the console would be a bummer.
