Xbox Series S | Storage/Games/App freezes when trying to install Forza Horizon 5

I have been trying to install Forza Horizon 5 on my system for last 2 days. Whenever I click on "Pre-Install" on the FH5 page in the Game Pass section, the game does not start downloading. After this point the system becomes unresponsive i.e. I can still navigate the Home Screen but I cannot start any other Apps/Games. I have to then Shutdown/Restart my system. When the system is started again, FH5 is shown as "Installing.." in the download queue and is stuck in that state and again all other things are unresponsive. When I click on "Cancel Download" it takes 5 minutes for it to cancel it from the queue, after which I am able to start other Apps/Games smoothly. For some reason this issue is causing my console to behave weirdly. The other day all my other installed Apps/Games were not visible in the Library and was only stuck on the Loading circle animation. I don't face this issue when installing any other Apps/Games. I am not sure if this issue is because of the game (FH5) or a faulty hardware. Please help resolve this issue.

Troubleshooting I already tried:

1. Changing Network Settings (DNS/Port Forwarding)

2. Changing Network Connection from WiFi 5GHz to LAN Ethernet (Both produce same results)

3. Factory Resetting the System

If you have an external hard drive connected to the console, remove, clear the console cache and try installing the game again without the external hard drive.
Clear the console cache by holding the power button until the console turns off, remove the power cord for 1 minute and test if the problem happens again.

If the problem persists, reset the console again but this time erasing everything.

Optimized for Series X

There are some Xbox One games in there like Gears 5, Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4 and a few others.

These 'Optimized' games will need to be installed internally or on to the Expansion card.

External USB Storage can hold all games, but Series X/S games or optimized Xbox One games can not run from USB Storage.

I have reinstalled the xbox game pass app.

It is still showing Forza Horizon 5 as uninstalled.

When attempting to install, it shows 110gb of storage space free (I know that this should be closer to 220-230gb)- suggesting that the failed install from last night is still hogging drive space.

If I try to install Forza Horizon 5 again, it lingers on "preparing install" before failing without any error messages

It seems like there is some corrupt data somewhere that I need to clear both to free up space and allow me to reinstall the game.

This is what helped me and got Forza to download.
1. Go into the Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition.
2. Next you want to click on Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition and you want to click Install from the Xbox app.
3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.
4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.
