    Xbox series s sound when using headphones


    Does anyone else have the problem where with the series s when you use your headphones it makes like a static noise and stuff I tried all of my headphones and it does the samething. I also used my one s controller and no luck so I took my series s controller and connected it to my one s and I had no problems with the sound so its not the controller or headphones but the xbox.

    Yes, as described (Power Reset).

    I'm not using an adapter, but connecting directly to input P2 (bottom left).

    On another Xbox Series S from a friend, my headphones worked.

    I have no sound at all in my headphone. only when im long pressing a button on the adapter for my headphones. and im using the xbox stereo headset.

    The audio setting is set to windows sonic for headphones.

    Hi,

    The 3.5mm headphone jack on Xbox One/Series X|S controllers (including Elite controllers) does not work when connected via Bluetooth. It will only work via USB or the official Xbox wireless adaptor.

    I found the problem!

    When I use my headphone than the sound do not work, but when I don't use my headphone

    Then the sound works perfectly.

    Geri, I'm not sure if you still are receiving this thread but I did get my replacement Xbox controller today and I hooked it up to my series X and everything worked fine except that there is no sound coming through my wired headphones. These are Arctis Prime Steel Series wired headphones that worked fine with all my other controllers and just recently with my Xbox series X controller but when I connected to the Elite control they sent me it does there's no sound coming through. I cleaned the port a harder rebooted my Xbox Series X I updated the firmware and still no results.

    Do you have any suggestions?
