    Xbox Series S sound cutout


    Hey everyone, im new to xbox and have had an xbox series S for about a week now. I am really enjoying it, but I noticed a small issue that I hope won’t become serious. Every now and then my sound will cut out for a split second. Usually if im playing for
    5 hours it will happen once or twice. Should I be worried that it will get worse. It’s connected to a 4K samsung TV using the speakers. Im connected internet using Wifi if that means anything. All help is appreciated. Thanks

    Hello Darwinator,

    No you dont have to worry about it, that is usually normal for it to happen when you have a lag every now and then. If it gets worse then you could start worrying about it.

    Yeah. Hope you find some fix to your problem. I have sony soundbar and tv everthing else works perfectly but not xbox s atmos feature. I will test more with the new update and then maybe join for insider..if still everything goes south i will have let
    xbox one s go..fed up to watch atmos content movies with picture and sound cutouts.

    I have too sound/picture cutout problems. I have Sony HT-ZF9 3.1 Dolby Atmos Soundbar. It seems to be only when enabling Atmos on Xbox one S. Super annoying. I have latest Sony zf9 soundbar update. It enabled eartc option but that didnt help for the problem
    either! Microsoft fix this and fast!!! When i not using atmos on xbox one s everything works just fine.. so its xbox one problem not soundbar or tv! I have sony tv also.

    It sounds like you have a One S then. That game is available for the Series S/X, but not the One.
