Xbox series s shutting off consistently while playing

My Xbox keeps shutting off for an unknown reason. I've tried every reasonable and unreasonable solution. I have an Xbox series s and ever since last month it just keeps turning off. At first it was at times during games, such as when I jump out of the battle bus in Fortnite, or when I load in to the second match of vanguard. I ignored the problem and took a break from my Xbox entirely. When I finally decided to do something about it, the closest thing I could find online to my problem was people having problems with cold war back in 2020/2021, and from what I saw that problem already had a solution. After this I just tried a bunch of solutions on the internet such as reinstalling the problematic games, soft and hard resetting the console (with and without the storage expansion card), and moving the power cord from an extension cord in to the wall. Obviously none of these worked, so I talked to a virtual agent, and after that lead to nothing I talked to a real person with the Xbox support line, and after I had already done everything they told me, it ended with them telling me to send it in for repair. So I sent it in for repair and tested it when it came back. The paper that came with my Xbox said that nothing was wrong with it, but I had tested it and the same thing was happening. The most recent thing I did was a use a third party power cord, and that didn't work either. I don't know what is happening, but after all this I can only assume it has something to do with the wiring of the house.

I am not able to test in another house but I can test in another room and see if that works.

Since you tried almost everything and the Xbox service told you nothing was wrong with the console, I would suggest you to test it on another house. Are you able to test it on a family or friend's house?

it's true i did suffer some lag and somewhat frequent crashes regularly but not regularly enough to really bother me as I don't play competitively, on my old One S i was able to play most games with little issue, from what I've seen the Series S is just a slimmer more powerful One S, and while connected properly feel about the same operation wise. I'm just struggling to understand why the Series S keeps turning its connection off. The only applications i have available to test at the moment are YouTube and Netflix and are able to run a decent 240p - 480p, downloads are incredibly slow but again the speed has never bothered me, on my One S the speeds were consistent even if i had to wait a few days, the Series S does seem to work a bit faster on the downloads actually but for some reason it just drops the connection.

Thanks, I will look into this. My controller is now doing this thing where it becomes unresponsive while it's still on. I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work, and it has shut off a few times after doing that.

Thank you for responding. I haven't tried it wirelessly. I use the controller plugged in only because it won't stay connected to the system. That's a problem I've had with each of my wireless controllers, and I think it's because of something interfering with the signal. As for the cable I use, it's the only one I have that fits the controller.

I did a firmware update after making the post, but I haven't noticed a difference. I don'r have a headset or an adapter, so the other options are not doable.
