    Xbox series s shuts down randomly.


    Hello everyone My console turns off in different situations and in different games. Sometimes while running Gears 5, Control and the witcher, other times when I close the games to return to the Dashboard (Assassin's Creed odyssey or Battlefield 4), other times when I turn on the console. When I bought it on November 10th it didn't give any problems but after a strange system update error that forced me to do a factory reset the console started shutting down for no reason. I noticed that the only thing that makes the problem disappear temporarily Is unplug the power cable, after a few minutes the console seems to work as now but after a while the problem returns, especially after playing some games like for example CONTROL. One thing I noticed is that when the console is working, the controller stays on for a minute before turning off. When the problem returns the controller shuts down at the right times. I know, maybe it has nothing to do with this, but this thing is strange. I hope they can fix it with a patch, because in my country there is a lockdown and it is an hard time to bè whitout a console.

    Maybe Xbox Live is shutting down on the 360 to make way for the series x/series as s?

    Firstly thank you for your response. But this issue has been only at next gen enhanced games and many people has this problem. You may find many tittles about this problem in the websites/forums. I think Microsoft has to official explanation about this unexpected shutting downs. If ı send my console to repair you will send me a replacament unit and ı have bought my console only 20 days ago. also, there is no guarantee that replacament unit will be works fine.

    I like xbox consoles but this problem made me unhappy for an one week.

    I sent to Microsoft and get a refurbished. And problem is fixed. If you have Same problem you should send it to Microsoft too
