Xbox Series S Screen "Dots" Issue

Hello!

First off, apologies if this is not the right place to post, I'm not really too familiar with Reddit. I bought my XBSS back in February and have been using it with no issues until recently. In case it's relevant, I'm playing through an LG tv from around 2018 which has 4k and HDR capabilities.



The issue:

I downloaded Back4Blood when it released from Game Pass and noticed when I started playing that all over the screen were small "dots" which were usually a purple/green colour flickering in a seemingly random pattern on the screen. These only appeared during gameplay and not on the main menu or loading screens. After a while I got fed up with the issue and deleted B4B as I wasn't that interested in it to begin with and assumed it was an issue with the game. Since then (and before) I have played numerous games (Dead Space, COD Warzone, Chivalry 2, Moonglow Bay, Ori WOTW, Battlefield 5) and have not encountered this issue again.

Yesterday, I downloaded Forza Horizon 5 and unfortunately I am experiencing a similar issue with this title. While driving around there are "dots" (usually white) randomly flickering on screen, at times there are lots and other times less, but they are always there when playing. Interestingly, these do not appear on the main menu, pause menu, or loading screen or if I return to the Xbox home screen or boot up one of the above games they are not present. So it seems to be isolated to during gameplay.

I tried to included a short video to show the white flickering "dots" on Forza Horizon 5, however, the option to add a video or image is greyed out.



Things I've Tried:

1. 
   Using a different HDMI cable (I'm currently using the one that came with the Xbox) and also connecting the Xbox to a 1080p, non HDR, monitor with 2 different HDMI cables.
   
   
2. 
   I've messed around with turning on/off various HDR and refresh rate settings on the Xbox system.
   
   
3. 
   Changed between Performance and Graphics mode on Forza itself.
   
   
4. 
   Completed a full reset of the Xbox (keeping only downloaded app/games) as advised by someone on the Xbox support live chat.
   
   
5. 
   I've also redownloaded B4B and the issue is still there on that game too.
   

At this point I've had a good look around the internet and the best I can come up with is that there may be an issue with the GPU and that maybe the gameplay in these newer games is more demanding and showing up the issue unlike in older titles? Although I know next to nothing about console or PC hardware so this is a totally uninformed (and possibly stupid) thought. The person on Xbox live chat suggested I may need to send my Xbox for repair and as it is still under warranty this is an option, however, I would like to avoid having to spend time without the console if at all possible. Any help, thoughts, advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
