    Xbox series S randomly powering off ?!?


    so i have the series S and just today ive had an issue happen only twice so far but im listening to spotify and my system just shut down, the first time i was confused but thought nothing of it but when i turn my console back on and reconnected to spotify i managed to get through 1 song and then it powered off by itself again!! I have had the auto power off for when im using media turned off for about a month and my system isn’t over heating... just thought id share cause that can’t be normal anyone have a similar experience/found a solution?

    Hi, If you didn't know, the Xbox Series X turns itself off randomly to protect itself from overheating or when there is no power. It can also hard crash, even when playing relatively low-powered games like Minecraft.

    Reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

    Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

    In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

    To reset the console>

    Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

    **Do not reset the console without having your login information such as email and password

    If the problem persists, try reinstalling these games. If the problem still persists, I'm afraid the console will need to be sent in for repair.

    Xbox Series S shut offs randomly

    Check console Settings>General>Sleep mode and startup to ensure the console isn't set to shut down after 6 hours of use. It's the very first option. I set mine to never turn off.
