    Xbox series s not launching any games


    I have done all the basic troubleshooting soft restart, hard restart, network connection is fine wired and wireless with open Nat, I have deleted my love account, tried someone else’s live account, cleared caches/local saves and now even factory resetting the Xbox. Nothing worked. After half a day redownloading some games I tried to open it again. Most of the games I will start then it goes black screen and takes me back to the main dashboard. One or two will open the game and freeze immediately at the first screen on the load screen. I am at a loss now. I have had this little over a month. I had no problems yesterday playing. No updates happened last night. There are no updates for the console. Any help?

    Please try logging in first to your account on the Xbox Series X console then log in with the child account. Try launching the game after that and see if it works. If it works and the game has launched successfully, try logging in to your account on the Xbox Series S console.

    Were they disc based games?

    There Series S has no optical Blu-Ray drive. If those games were installed from a disc then they can only be launched from a disc. Since the Series S has no such drive, you would need to purchase the digital version.

    The same goes for any other game that was on disc.
