Xbox series s not compatible with my TV

It is compatible with a Series X. It is not compatible with the One or a Series S since it doesn't have a disc drive.

According to my Xbox Series X|S, the disc is “incompatible”, and I can only play a compatible version of it if I pay $62.99 for a new copy WITH EA Play.

Xbox one isn't xbox one s or x compatible they are all compatible it's only the x that has some enhancements but generally the game will download on any xbox one

You will still be able to play just at your televisions cap which would be the same as getting a Xbox One X if your TV is capped at 60Hz it’s also sadly capped at 60 frames per second.

You’re either going to want a smaller gaming monitor to optimise performance or a television with the specific specifications required for 4K 120Hz (most are monitors LG have a TV sized one 44”)

Many people are asking the same question. As far as im aware the Console is able to down-scale to 720p just as most laptops or PCs.

But until a Moderator or Microsoft team member confirms that dont quote me; you should be fine but the best way to ensure you dont concur a purchase your unhappy with is just to wait for more informative reviews or ones specifically catering to your monitor
specs.

With tv signals you want a higher support sp supporting 120hz is fine your tv will goto 60hz also

Its when your tv cant support a resolution higher then your xbox or ps4 support than you want will it be an issue

You want to go up not down with tvs

Your TV should be compatible with the game, so there shouldn't be any worry there. All 60hz means is the game can run at 60 FPS, meaning anything above that is an upgrade.
