Xbox Series S Mac Address

To clarify:

• By "startup screen", are you referring to the screen with the Xbox logo that comes up during the boot-up sequence?

• Do you have any external devices plugged into your console's USB ports?

• Have you already tried power cycling your console? like this:

- Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds, until it shuts down.

- Unplug the power cord from your console for 3 minutes.

- Plug everything back together and turn your console on.

Microsoft Locked the wireless alternate mac address on the new xbox one s , this means if you have to manually input the wireless mac address you cant, even if you manually input the wireless alternate mac address it wont take after the console restarts..this
is bad new gamers, you been warned...if you need to manually enter your alternate mac address then dont buy a new xbox one s.

also noted that every game console lets you change the wireless mac address, even the original xbox one lets you change the alternate mac address to the one you need to use...but the new xbox one s locked us out in changing the wireless mac address manually

Let´s try clearing the MAC address

Press Start at the main Xbox menu. Navigate to Settings. Select Network Settings, Advanced Settings, Alternative Mac Address, and finally Clear.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Have you tried doing a full power cycle by holding down the console power button for 10 seconds until it turns off then removing the cable for 5 mins?

Yes, I've tried it, but it didn't work.
