    Xbox series S home button


    Hello gamers�� looking for assistance regarding my Xbox series S home button on the controller. It can turn the Xbox on and off but when I press it , it won’t pop up or anything making it difficult to switch between apps. Tried the controller on another
    Xbox and it works. Anyone have the same problem? Seems like it’s a software issue!

    I'm sorry but to avoid any confusion, your brother is using the Microsoft account where the active Xbox live gold subscription was purchased, is that correct?

    Does your brother's account also set as home Xbox on your Xbox series S console?

    To confirm this, sign in to your brother's account on Xbox series S console press the Xbox menu button > Go to Settings > Personalization > My home Xbox.

    May I know which option is showing next, is it "Remove this as home Xbox" or "Make this my home Xbox" ?

    Try to confirm if your account is still set as home Xbox on your Xbox Series S

    By signing in to your account where you have an active Xbox Live subscription on your Xbox series S console > press the Xbox menu button > Go to Settings > Personalization > My home Xbox.

    If you see an option as "Remove this as home Xbox" it means your account is already set as home Xbox. Sign in to a different account and launch any Xbox games then check if you will be able to play an Xbox game online.

    If you see an option as "Make this my home Xbox" it means that your account is not yet set as home Xbox, click on the option to proceed with the Xbox games/subscription sharing.

    If xbox one s then no it has to run thru xcloud as the hardware isn't powerful enough meaning non subscriber accounts can't use it

    Series s can run it natively thru home share
