    Just purchased a Series S, having issues connecting it to my set-up. Direct to the monitor works fine but using an HDMI switch won't. It works for One S & Nintendo Switch. I'm using this HDMI Switch, it's powered. Is the Series X too powerful for it?

    I'm sure it doesn't factor in, but I'm using THIS Monitor. I've tried the low res reboot; changing ends of the box to switch cable & a whole new cable, all 4 HDMI ports on the switch.

    Getting up and swapping pc/xbox HDMI cables to monitor isn't a possibility due to disability.

    I don't really want another monitor on my desk if I can help it, but if I have to I guess I will somehow.

    Hi,

    That switch box is pretty old and low spec. The switcher doesn't have enough bandwidth to support your Series S console, even though it says it supports 1080P @60Hz.

    My advice would be to buy a new, more advanced switch box. Here's a few to choose from.

    think of it as no difference from having a blu-ray player and your xbox connected to your screen, just change the input,.
