Xbox series s gets hot

Heat is entirly normal.

However unlike others have speculated, the Series S is designed with a giant vent right above the heat sink for a reason, to get the heat out. Depending on what game you’re playing and whst. You’re doing, more heat is generated

yet my pc with air cooling only and running a stress test maxed gpu and cpu runs cool in comparison. cpu maxes out at 62 degrees and the 3080ti hits 68 degrees.

the series s is a little box that does not provide the best of cooling and is also running full tilt running the games best it can, unfortunately showing its age already.

If the PC case is designed well enough, then it is surprising how cool air cooling can keep a system....my system runs miles cooler than my old one despite having less fans and only a CPU fan cooler (versus liquid). It only has a 2060 Super but I used to run that at 95% usage for hours on end and the exhaust air still ran cool, albeit with the fans running at max

The Series S kind of reminds me of the bargain basement PC cases you can get which have almost zero airflow...components just run so much hotter

Well it is a computer chip

And it is designed to vent heat like an air tunnel

If you think that's hot my ps5 never runs in the summer (60-65 degrees )

And I have a whole half a floor

In this day and age how don't you expect a console to get more powerful?

Normal operating temperature for series x is 55-60 degrees

Unless he's getting an error it's not a fault

Computer can heat a whole house if it vents correctly

Also why I never ran my computer in a small room.and it depends o. The game.the most powerful game.I ran with my ps5 is final fantasy 7 remake since the last of us 2 is unplayable

I run Diablo 2 remake, dark alliance , halo games , resident evil etc on series x mind you my ps5 and serirs x are beside my tv
