Xbox Series S games stuck on ‘Queued’

I restarted the computer and the Manage Installs page on the Xbox app is still stuck on “Checking for updates…” with three games staying Queued

I'm experiencing the same issue. I turned off my Xbox and unplugged the power cord and still stuck on queued.

Sadly, since the Series S does not have an optical drive and the digital version has been delisted, it won't be possible for you to buy or play this version of the game on your Series S.

You're stuck with Mortal Kombat X or MK11.

Dying Light 2 is a big game and highly anticipated. Series S owners are paying a next-gen price for the game and will wonder why they're only getting a last gen 30 fps performance.

Remember, you're not stuck with the Series S version. When availability gets better you can always exchange your S for an X. When you upgrade, you'll get access to all the Series X features for this and other games.

Found the issue! There was an update to this game queued in the 'Downloads and Updates' section of the Microsoft Store. I think the update was stuck there in limbo, as I'd uninstalled the game. Downloading the update now - and now it shows up as downloading
in the Xbox app.
