    Xbox series S doesn’t let me download games when it’s off


    Hello, my Xbox series S doesn’t let me download games when I turn it off, I already have everything active for the Xbox to automatically update or download games when it’s not on. I’m trying to install MW2 and it shows it’s installing but once I turn the console off and come back a few hours later to see if it completed the download. The game goes away, like it never was installing. I already power rest my Xbox. I even rested my internet, but it still doesn’t let me download MW2 when I turn off my xbox. Someone please help this is a new Xbox. I didn’t expect there to be this kind of problem going on with the console.

    Digital yes.

    They were re downloaded off my account when I setup this series S and downloaded from the games menu where it shows all of my owned games.

    Does anyone know if crossplay option will be returning MW2 on Xbox system even if I had to wait weeks or months please let me know

    when you said series did you mean Xbox series type and

    if Xbox series s/x has cross play option for mw2 it's it possible from to download mw2 on Xbox series s if

    it has cross play on this game.

    What do I do if my Xbox won’t let me have no more then 4. Games and I have a external storage but it keeps making me move all my games

    series s and x games can only run from the internal storage or official (rip off) expansion card. only xbox one and 360 bc games can run off the external hdd.
    So I cannot download GTA Xbox series s/x edition on my external hardware?

    Curious. The support site also doesn’t mention that this shouldn’t work. I’ll test other titles and let you know, but I’m sure Forza is the same.
