    XBox Series S Controller


    I have a brand newish XBox Series One S/X controller (got it in 2020). Have had no issues using it on my PC until recently. When I plug it in to use it wired, it will work for about 20 seconds, then stop working and the controller will still have the XBox logo lit up but the controller does not work. It does not work in game and the XBox accessories app for PC does not recognize that it is even plugged in. I have changed USB ports, changed cables, tried it with and without a USB hub, tried a USB-C - to - USB-C cable and they all have the same outcome.

    This just started happening recently, probably over the past month or so. I first noticed it when attempting to play Forza Horizon 5 and my controller, while lit up, would not work. I checked my device manager and it wasn't even being recognized as being plugged in. I unplugged it and plugged it into a different USB port and it vibrated but did not show up as plugged in. I ended up buying a Bluetooth adapter to connect it to bluetooth. When it is connected to Bluetooth, it works fine. I have also had my headset charge through the usb cables/ports and it charges just fine. I tried uninstalling the XBox controller and restarting my PC to have it reinstall it and that did not help, either.

    Does anyone else have this issue? I do not own an XBox so I cannot try it on an XBox.

    I just plugged in my PS5 controller to the same port with the same cable and it works completely fine.

    Did the xbox series controller works on xbox one fat?

    Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Also the Xbox One controllers work on the new Series consoles.

    Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Xbox One controllers also work on the new Series consoles.

    Xbox wireless controllers, including the latest Xbox Wireless Controllers included with the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, are compatible with the Xbox Series S. In addition, some older Xbox One wireless controllers work with the Xbox Series S. As for third-party wireless controllers, the compatibility depends on the specific controller and whether it is designed to work with the Xbox wireless protocol. The Ant eSports controller you mentioned appears to be a third-party controller designed for PC gaming, and it may not be compatible with the Xbox Series S.

Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore
