Xbox Series S controller not working properly!

Hi All,

Bit of a rage post because im not finding answers to this issue anywhere!

I bought my series s in April this year and the controller is having issues! It doesnt recognise that a button has been pressed or itll recognise it and do double if that makes sense?

Like when playing Skyrim, selling things or even in combat itll randomly put my weapon away or ill end up selling things i dont want to because the buttons recognising it as being pressed when i didnt or only pressed it once to do what im intending to do! Im constantly having to go back to the last save because no way in hell im going to buy it back. You have no idea how annoying this is getting!! Ive tried pressing as light as possible, ive tried being firm in pressing and nothing makes a difference! I havent dropped the controller or anything to make it have issues either. Thought it could be the batteries but no, i have brand new batteries in the damn controller and if anything its made it worse! Its mainly started since there was a controller update about a month or 2 ago and no idea how to un-update it! Theres no further updates for it either! Ive tried freeing up space on the console but that hasnt worked either.

Im not usually a rage gamer but my god this is turning me into one!

SO many problems with the xbox after coming from playstation! Should have just stayed with playstation after the problems ive had so far! Even my Elder Scrolls Online account, ive paid for ESO+ for months and have probably only once or twice got the crowns that are supposed to come with it! This has been such a complete waste of money!

My controller stop working too series x , factory controller . Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore

Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Also the Xbox One controllers work on the new Series consoles.

Xbox wireless controllers, including the latest Xbox Wireless Controllers included with the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, are compatible with the Xbox Series S. In addition, some older Xbox One wireless controllers work with the Xbox Series S. As for third-party wireless controllers, the compatibility depends on the specific controller and whether it is designed to work with the Xbox wireless protocol. The Ant eSports controller you mentioned appears to be a third-party controller designed for PC gaming, and it may not be compatible with the Xbox Series S.
