Xbox Series S Controller Double Inputs

Starting about 2 weeks ago, I've been experiencing a variety of controller problems. It first started with stick drift in games specifically. A week after, I began experiencing double inputs on my controller whenever I was on the home screen or anything related to the dashboard (games tab, settings, xbox apps, etc). Every button, joystick, bumper and the dpad is doing this. The weird thing is that it doesn't do this in games. As mentioned before, the only things I experience in games is stick drift from my right joystick, never any double inputs. The double inputs are exclusively a non-game problem.

What I've tried to do to solve this:
Updated my firmware multiple times
Reset my xbox
Restarted my xbox
Disconnected controller from xbox

I did all the process. After that I played about 30 minutes with no issues than the double click happened twice. Before turning off the console I tested the inputs in game menus for 2-3 minutes and it didn't reappeared. So it's infrequent as always but it's still there (and sometimes the frequency is higher, that's the trouble). Do you think it's a controller factory defect? Should I ask for a return at my local store? I'm still in time (only for one of the two controllers). Nobody seems to have a solution.

Tried a new controller. Same problem and now it happens more frequently. Any more help?
