Xbox series s controller disconnecting from wireless adapter

Hi. Recently my controller has started to disconnect 20 - 30 minutes after use from my wireless adapter and I have to restart my computer to reconnect it. It just started doing this I didn't have a issue for around a month when I bought the wireless adapter. Any idea for what is causing this ? Any help is appreciated

Please go to the device manager and try to update the driver, if this doesn't solve the situation delete the driver and restart the Pc

Could be also a problem with the USB port, you could try a different one, some users have solved this by using a USB cable adapter to extend the distance between the PC and the adapter

Hello there guys, just wanna ask if the Xbox Series X Controller is compatible with the Xbox One Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 ?

Also, is there gonna be a newer version of the wireless adapter for Windows 10 destined for the Series X controller ?

Xbox wireless controllers, including the latest Xbox Wireless Controllers included with the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, are compatible with the Xbox Series S. In addition, some older Xbox One wireless controllers work with the Xbox Series S. As for third-party wireless controllers, the compatibility depends on the specific controller and whether it is designed to work with the Xbox wireless protocol. The Ant eSports controller you mentioned appears to be a third-party controller designed for PC gaming, and it may not be compatible with the Xbox Series S.
