Xbox Series S "Capture and Share" issue

Greetings,

I've looked everywhere for anything on this topic and couldn't find anything.

Basically, I use the Xbox's built in "capture and share" feature to record my gameplay, however when I play it back, the gameplay looks very overexposed, dull, colour washed etc. This is ONLY when I watch my recorded gameplay, NOT when I'm actually playing.

Has anyone else come across this issue? This is a recent issue that has occurred because I've been doing this for a while with no problems until now.

Are you referring to the limit on the Series X/S?

In the Settings menu on your console, select Preferences, and find and select Capture & Share. This allows you to change the recording length, resolution, capture location etc. Changing these allow you to get up to 3 mins of recording.

Funny how I haven't had this issue on my xbox one x ever but when I go on my xbox series S then it just starts having the lag spike issues with my captures.

I’m having the same exact issue on my Xbox Series S. I made sure my custom privacy settings allow me to share captures and join/create clubs, but I’m still unable to join any official clubs. I also tried putting privacy settings on the Adult default. I’ve tried logging out of my account and back in, restarting the system and nothing has worked.

I’ve seen a lot of other posts here on the forums regarding this same issue since 2018 for both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and no solution has been found. It seems to be a bug.

Please, if there is a fix for this, I would appreciate it.
