    Xbox Series S Black Screen of Death


    Hey guys,
    If I start my Xbox Series S, the console doesn't recognize my screen (which is connected via HDMI). But if I remove the power cable from my screen and put it on again everything is working fine. That shoes me that the console is booting up as it should,
    but is not able to find devices connected via HDMI. My screen is not the problem, cause I don't have this problem on my Xbox One S (on the same HDMI port). I already reset my console to factory settings two times, my screen is not the problem and the HDMI
    cable also not. I hope somebody can help me (and please don't post the troubleshooting steps from Microsoft... They haven't solved the problem). Thanks for your time.
    Update: Tried a different screen and a different HDMI cable (that are both working on other devices) and the black screen still appears). And please don't lock the thread... It seem like Microsoft wants to hide this problem as there were many other people
    talking about this here and no one got a helpful answer.

    black screen of death is appropiate.. if it doesnt reboot normally, even after a factory reset( yes I was able to get it to come on twice now) but not playable , then you are screwed. that last update doomed the x box one s .. dont know what other series was affected ? dont know if i want to buy another or switch to playstation 5
