Xbox Series Elite 2 Paddles Unresponsive

Each Elite controller series 2 comes with 1 set of paddles. You can order replacement paddles, thumbsticks etc.

Series 1 paddles, thumbsticks is not compatible with series 2.

First , you will need to Troubleshoot your Xbox Wireless Controller | Xbox Support. If that doesn't resolve the issue, you will have to get the controller replaced by following what's mentioned here => Request an Xbox controller replacement | Xbox Support.

Solution 1:

Press and hold the Xbox button  for 5-10 seconds, until the controller turns off.

Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Xbox button  again to turn the controller back on.

Solution 2:

If you don’t already have the app installed, get it in the:

Microsoft Store

Open the Xbox Accessories app.

Connect your Xbox Wireless Controller by using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.

Note You'll be prompted to update to Windows 10 Anniversary Edition if you haven't yet done so.

When the controller is connected, you'll see the Update Required message if an update is mandatory. Install the update.
