Discus and support Xbox series controller warranty shipping label in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I was experiencing joystick drift on my 2-month-old Series S.     Xbox series controller warranty shipping label


    I was experiencing joystick drift on my 2-month-old Series S. It is covered under warranty so I created a ticket. But it says unable to create a label on the email. Without the label, I don't know the address to ship it to. In the email, it says to contact Microsoft support but I can't find any way to do it on the support site. Please help with creating a label manually.

    PS: This is for India.

    This post is correct. You must contact Microsoft or Xbox Support. The Service Request will be attached to your email. When approaching an associate please make sure you have your confirmation email handy.

    Sorry to hear it. You'll need to speak with support for help creating a ticket. Please click this link to start a chat. As to be escalated to a Microsoft Advocate as the first level of support (gamer level) will not be able to help. Be aware that a Release is not the same as an Escalation, just in case you get someone who wants to release the ticket.

    Hey there mawiie420,

    Thank you for reaching out to the forums, unfortunately for Standard Xbox One controllers you will not receive a shipping label.

    A shipping label is only sent out when you set up a repair for:

    • Xbox One console within 1 year warranty
    • Xbox One Elite controller within 90 days warranty
    • Xbox One Design Labs controller within 120 days warranty.

    In this case you will have to pay for the shipping on your side through any shipping company that is available to you.

    Xbox One Controller, left stick faulting!!!

    So far the controllers are working fine. The Day One controller does seem to have some blemishes on it in the clear parts on the top. Like it was used? Otherwise all is ok at the moment. However I am not always playing on Xbox One due to real life commitments.
    This is the part that worries me the most with the controllers because I had two fail on me with out playing all that much. Then you fall out of that warranty phase just by the date.

    I also have a lot more pictures of the controllers, box and shipping labels. The shipping labels are one thing that surprises me besides the no packing inside. The labels clearly state that it is an Xbox One controller.

    When you called in the 4 times to speak to customer support... Did they confirm to you the email address that the shipping label Is being sent in to you? It usually take no more than 48 hours to receive the shipping label. Are you 100% sure you're checking
    the correct email mailbox for the shipping label?

    I would suggest setting up a call back from an Xbox Live support agent by following the steps below. The agent would be able to look into your account and confirm to you where the email is being sent.
