    xbox series controller bluetooth disconnection issue


    My controller is like new (I've had it for some months barely using it wirelessly), is running the latest firmware (5.13.3143.0) using OEM batteries and I'm using it on my android phone (moto g30 with stock android 11 + updates)

    It pairs well initially, games such as minecraft or frontends like lemuroid recognize the controller and work out of the box, the problem is that constantly, every few minutes my controller disconnects and starts flashing, I have to manually power off the controller and pair it again with the phone. Because of this I have to resort to use a usb c to a adapter, but that totally defeats the purpose of getting this controller since I already own some wired ones.

    Is there anything I can do about it? I've seen some people write about similar stuff in answers.microsoft.com but there are no meaningful replies or solutions.

    I also thought of contacting motorola on their forums but their support is poor.

    Any help or way to forward this issue or help testing with a insiders program would be greatly appreciated.

    Ive been having the same issues with the new controllers that use Bluetooth to connect. I notice more issues when im running/connecting multiple bluetooth devices. But overall the disconnecting happens at random times. Ive just got into the habit of plunging
    the controller in whenever i play online multiplayer games. This has happened with the series 1 and 2 elites and the newer generic controllers.

    We are having the same issue with four Series 2 controllers. Have you figured out why the controller does not connect via Bluetooth after disconnecting it from the USB cable? I can't imagine this is how the controller was designed to work. Thanks.

    I have a new Elite Series 2 Controller, and having issues with Bluetooth that randomly disconnects.

    I can reproduce it by lauching WRC 8, at some point in the menu or in a race, the controller will get disconnected after a big stutter, and sometimes, it never reconnects (light is blinking on the controller, Windows says the controller is paired but will
    never see it connected even after restarting the controller, in this case, I have to remove the controller from Bluetooth device list and pair again).

    The controller firmware is up to date, Windows 10 64 bits is up to date, the Bluetooth driver from my Z390 motherboard with Intel Bluetooth controller is up to date.

    I have a regular Bluetooth XBox One X controller that works perfectly on the same host.

    same issue here, i have a DELL Z370 AURORA R8, my old xbox one s controller works really well with it, got tons of issues after using ELite 2
