To fix the LB/RB glitch hold down LB/RB (whichever isnt working) and put a tiny drop of water in the slit. Let it dry and then it should be fixed.

I would say make sure the controller is updated because it happened to me and i had an update and it fixed it right away

Skepticality

Very risky using water on an expensive piece of tech, I updated mine and it fixed it so for future reference make it’s up to date with the updates

This is a bad idea. Water and electronic components do not mix.

Get to know elite series 2 controller is worth a look and Update
xbox wireless controller would be a better course of action than putting water anywhere near a console or controller.

go to System > storage and press LB RB X LB RB X LB RB X LB RB X

Restart the Xbox

try and re download your profile

If it fails go here and setup 2 step authentication and create an app password to login to xbox live
