Xbox sent me the wrong balance for money code

Hello. For children's day, Xbox sent me (like everyone else I suppose) a redeemable code for some money. The thing is, the currency is in Argentinean pesos, the currency used in Argentina, which was the region my account was set on some weeks ago, and i'm
guessing I won't be able to change the region again for some time. Any way to fix this?

Take in count I set the region to the U.S long before the mail arrived today.

Xbox sending me broken files for digital codes....

You say you bought this via the Xbox Store, but got sent an email with the codes? They usually add the money straight to your account, have you checked your balance to see if the extra money is there?

 

Downloaded microsoft $$$ to wrong account.

I preordered a game through gamestop.

They sent me a code that downloaded $$$ into my "microsoft account balance" on XBOX one.

The problem is that I wasn't logged into the correct XBL account.

Is there any way to have the money moved to the correct account?

You aren't supposed to set your account region to somewhere you don't actually live

Ans it can cause issues with dlc

A lot of triple a games including those on the games with gold are region locked

Currency isn't transferable you can redeem it but you won't be able to use the balance till your match your account region to your actual regiom
