Xbox sent in for repair with game inside, sent back without game.

Late september i had to send my Xbox One X in to get fixed. Inside of the console’s disc drive i had a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. With my console being broken j was unable to get the game out of the disc drive, and when i recieved the console back
there was no game in the disc drive, in the box, or anything that came in the mail at all. i have contacted support about tjis only to be redirected back to support (what even?) i was told by some “Expert Xbox Gamers” that if i contacted someone who doesnt
ignore me, i could get a code for the game or something. I spent 100$ on this game and recently, the more ive thought about it the more i feel as i have been robbed. If anyone can help me id be appreciative, support hasnt done anything besides redirect me
to a “specialist” who didnt respond within 2 hours (so i left the chat).

Very sorry to hear this. Definitely contact Support again and hopefully you will have better luck with someone who is responsive. They should have sent the game back to you, in my opinion. If games are taken out of broken Xbox's sent in for repair, and
then just 'disappear' and are not returned with the console, then Microsoft has to do better. Nobody can argue that this is a shady business practice. There is no reason for it not to be returned with the console, unless it was repaired by a dishonest employee.
Definitely contact Support and I would not stop contact with them until it was resolved. Best of luck!

Unfortunately I think unless you still have a receipt or proof of purchase, as well as proof that you sent the game in and didn't receive it back there's really nothing Xbox support can do.

unfortunately you are told when sending off for repair to send only the xbox on its own. i dont think you will get anywhere with this although it wasn't your fault and i totally understand your frustration, if anyone can help it would be support, from the
forums we cant do anything as we are just gamers like you.

You should never leave a disc in the xbox when it's being transported, and when you send it for repair you are told more than once to remove any discs and accessories that arent supposed to be going with it.

Best thing you can do is get back in touch with that specialist and dont leave chat

Normally if you sent anything in with your console they will send it back to you in a different shipment. You will most likely be receiving it back in a different package.
