Xbox Sent for repair but still broken

I recently sent my Xbox One S for repairs.

The issue was that it would completely crash sometimes while playing games and just turn itself off entirely. I was playing FO3 when the xbox essentially sounded as if it exploded internally and it wouldn’t turn on at all after that. When filling out the
service request, I mentioned that there was a copy of Dragon Age inside the xbox when this happened which I received back when I got the xbox back.

However, the xbox won’t turn on at all. They said in the letter they did a factory reset which doesn’t seem helpful. I’ve ordered a new power supply cable, in the event that the one I have was damaged when my xbox finally gave up.

If this doesn’t solve the issue however, do I send the xbox back? Why would they send me an unrepaired xbox back in the first place when it’s fully under warranty :/

I would send it back to repair!!!

I'm surprised that you were able to get a disc back because it does state that any extra stuff sent wont be returned. Just open up a repair request again.

I think thats what I’m gonna have to do if the power supply isn’t the issue. It’s a little furstrating that it takes sending it away more than once just to get it repaired

I was also surprised. I only mentioned it so they knew, if the game was lost or wasn’t sent back I wasn’t gonna be too upset or anything

my x broke in december. i sent it off to be repaired and they sent it back exactly the same, still broken. ive sent it off to be repaired a second time now. i have zero faith they will fix it. i just want a working console

If you're not seeing the options for phone/chat support, change your category/topic. Billing options almost always give them.

Thanks for your help, I have gone through the categories which apply and they say support is not available for these options
