Xbox/Seagate hardrive something is not letting me play games like they use to

For the past 3 days I've tried everything from unplugging console, resetting with games and uninstalling and power cycle I've tried literally everything thing. The problems started on Monday (3 days ago) I was trying to launch up sea of thieves to play it the game would either say these to error codes 0x80070490 and 0x8027025a from that point on I then tried to load up rainbow six (both these games were digital) didn't work either so I tried so many methods over about 9 hours and then eventually I gave up and did the old "maybe its not working today thing, just sleep on it" so I did that.

Next day, SoT wasn't working until I uninstalled and put on the xbox storage instead of hard drive and did this for siege . spent another 3 hours trying to fix it. Eventually I went into storage and decided to check if it wasn't formatted and it turns out it was for some reason even though the harddrive has been working for 2+ years. So I saw if that solved the issue by installing minecraft on to it and it turned out it fixed it. I went to bed.

On the final day I woke up and tried playing siege it worked on the harddrive and so did sea of thieves. Also played warzone (on external harddrive) after a few games of warzone it started to kick me out of the game midway and then eventually it started not even letting me boot up past first art and said "disc error on the game" even though the game was digital.

In the afternoon, I tried playing Sea of thieves it worked fine but siege wasn't working now so I got annoyed and I just tried the power cycle thing again for the upteenth time and it still didn't work so currently I am now reinstalling the game and moving warzone off the harddrive.

In conclusion I think the problem is currently with my xbox one s console.

I told a friend about this and he said that he had this problem ages ago and it took him 2-3 weeks to fix which is irritating cus it made me think that it might be the same case for me.

UPDATE: Now none of my games are working on the 2tb harddrive by seagate

This may be due to hardware faults. Can you eject this drive, connect it to PC as a secondary one and check its health with third-party CrystalDiskInfo tool?

Many reallocation sectors mean drive it on its way to death. So sorry but you need to replace a drive. It may work still for a some time but no one can predict the RIP date.

I think i see the problem it says I've had my hard drive active for 3 years+ so basically its just run out of life is there a way of fixing this or do I just have to get a new one.

You could try using a Seagate external hardrive that should solve your problem!

2tb of space for around $60 everything would then be saved there instead of on the xbox itself.
