  1. Xbox Screen Times

Hello I used family account to set screen times for my son's Xbox One. For example, I set permitted time as 4:40pm to 6:00pm. This worked initially but now my son is able to play outside the permitted times. There seems to be a mismatch between the settings
I did on the family account and the xbox. The settings in family account for my son clearly show 'green' for 4:30 to 6:00 but when I switch on the xbox, logged in as my son, it says that screen time will stop at 4:30 instead of starting at 4:30. That means
the family account settings and the xbox appear to have been reversed. Any idea why this is happening?

    :)

  3. Screen Time - Xbox One

I have a similar time set up to you for my son but found that though he can go back on later in the day and play, it doesn’t stop after he has had his two hours so sometimes exceeds what I have set up. Not sure how to fix it

    XBox screen time

Thanks very much, I didn't realise you could do that - should to the job for me.

Would you know if there is a way to transfer his account-specific info from my account to his account - i.e., GamerTag, Achievements, Friends - or will he lose all that? I assume we can't, but just in case.

    Screen time

Be aware that they can create a new account or go offline with their accounts and both scenarios will bypass screen time.
No system is perfect and your best first step is parental oversight, if they find ways around the systems you set as a parent it may mean more proactivity on your part.

The first step is definitely to lock down access to the parent account, the children should have no need or ability to access it.

That's what I mean, locking down the parent account won't do anything once they know how easy the system is to circumvent.
