    Xbox Screen time Settings


    Trying to limit screen time spent gaming, but would like to exempt services like Netflix, Hulu, etc. Is there a way to whitelist those apps on the Xbox without using gaming screen time? Only other workaround I can think of is to make a separate account
    just for TV use but would prefer to avoid that. Thanks!

    That's easy, just sign out of your account. Applications like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and other streaming apps do not require a user to be logged in. They can all be accessed without an active user.

    The best section for a feature like this may be our
    Home, Xbox Guide, and Settings     section. However, I am happy to share that shortly after your post was made, a family timer feature was introduced! Parents who have child accounts can now set screen time limitations through our
    Microsoft Family page. Be sure to be signed into the parent account to set those limitations.
